Thank you for your interest in Forsman Guitars. I am passionate about guitar building and am excited to share that passion with you.

After having spent nearly two decades playing guitar, as well as repairing and restoring them, I began formally constructing guitars in 2007. Having played classical and fingerstyle music on factory-built instruments, I knew I wanted to build the type of guitar I had always dreamed of playing – one that is responsive, resonant, and highly playable.

Each Forsman Guitar is individually hand-built in my small, one-man workshop. I hand select woods for both tone and beauty, then shape, plane and thin each element to bring out its voice. Each guitar is therefore unique, voiced by ear, not according to replicated factory measurements.
